Join us at The Soulton Long Barrow to view the Summer Solstice on 21st June 2021
The Summer Solstice marks physical and spiritual moments in the year.
The longest day of sunshine(fingers crossed!) has been valued for centuries and no matter how many times we enjoy a sunrise it remains a wonderful moment.
Spiritually, the solstice marks the ancient festival of Litha which is still respected and enjoyed today. It is believed to be a magical moment where the ‘sun stands still’ at its strongest point.
Celebrating the summer solstice sunrise at The Soulton Long Barrow is open to everyone, so come along and share this natural spectacle of ‘wonderment’.
Tickets are free but limited.
