At our barrows we witness intimate, beautiful, personalised ceremonies. When ashes are ‘placed’ into your niche there are no time constraints, just a unique, calm and private space, allowing you to do what feels ‘right’.
Placement ceremony
Families can hold a service at the barrow with the coffin before it is taken to the Crematorium. They can then choose to return to place the urn into the niche when they are ready.
Services at the Barrows
Our barrows are beautiful, intimate spaces. They are a blank canvas for you to create a service or memorial event. These services can be a small intimate family picnic, include music, or poetry. You may bring a faith leader or a celebrant to officiate, but you may prefer an intimate, family-led service.
Placement ceremonies within a barrow are described as up-lifting, powerful and a positively moving experience.
